SUOne Card

Your SUOne card is your:

  • University ID
  • Facility Access Card
  • Laundry Card
  • Library Card
  • Meal Plan Card
  • SUOne Account (debit account accepted at most campus locations)
  • Access to your Financial Aid Bookstore Voucher

How do I get my SUOne card?

Residents will be given their new cards during check-in. Everyone else will get their card at orientation. Cards can also be obtained during regular business hours from Security on the Owings Mills Campus. See the Security Office in the Ratcliffe Community Center on the Owings Mills Campus or the Reception Office in the LRC building on the Greenspring Campus for evening and weekend appointments. Evening & weekend students and faculty can call the main Stevenson line, 410-786-7000, to schedule an appointment or stop in the Reception Office and they will contact Security.

What is the SUOne account?

The SUOne account is a same-as-cash debit fund. You deposit money into the account and then use your card to any location that accepts the SUOne account. If you are in the bookstore, just tell the cashier you want to use your SUOne account. Want a soda or snack? Just go to any of the clearly marked vending machines that accepts the SUOne card and swipe your card! Throughout the year, there may also be promotions for those who use their SUOne account to make purchases.

How does the SUOne account work?

  1. Everyone with a SUOne card has a SUOne account. Whether you use it or not is up to you.
  2. There are no fees, interest charges or minimum balances.
  3. The card is accepted in the university store, all Sodexho locations, and at select vending and copying locations.
  4. All funds are pre-deposited by the cardholder. There are no limits to exceed and there are a number of convenient locations where cardholders can deposit more money, including online via Blackboard. Transaction history is also available.
  5. As long as a cardholder has an active student registration, the balance rolls over from semester to semester.
  6. A cardholder’s balance may only be withdrawn after graduation or withdrawal from classes. The balance must be requested in writing within 30 days after graduation or withdrawal. A $25 processing fee is automatically deducted at that time. Otherwise after 30 days, the balance is not refundable.

Depositing money into your SUOne account

On Campus:

  • In Student Student Financial Services located on the second floor of Garrison Hall on the OM Campus.  (cash, check, money order or credit card)

Off Campus:

  • Visit Blackboard and login to add money to your SUOne account. The login is the same as your webmail login and the password is your Novell password. (credit card only)

Lost or stolen card

Should your card be lost or stolen, you should immediately notify Security by logging onto Blackboard, navigating to the “SUOne Card” tab and reporting your card as missing. If you are on the Owings Mills campus you can go to the Security Office in the Community Center or call 443-352-4500 and leave a message with your name and card number. You card will be immediately disabled and a new card will have to be issued. There is a cost of $20 for a replacement card. You will have to go to the Security Office on the Owings Mills Campus to pick up your new card. The cardholder will be held responsible for all charges prior to the card being reported.
